Oddly enough, but I really agree with the poll results... maybe with the exception - City Hunter. Seriously, showing the wacky adventures of the big womanizer Ryo with all kind of erotic fanservice straight from 90's to child is not really the best idea.

AssClass is another weird choose. I don't think parents would want their kids watching a show about other kids trying to kill their teacher.....no matter how goofy the teacher looks.

City Hunter is from the 80s not 90s.

I don't understand the results. How was this determined? The percentages don't add up to 100%.

Yeah any work about the lives of assassins is inherently dealing with some heavy themes. Even if that franchise has a lot of slice of life and comedy in it, it steal is about people whose job is to kill.
I'm happy to see Dr. Slump on this list. It's kinda immature but in the real way, the way that does appeal to a young mind specifically.

AssClass is the shounen comedy - it's not really about the killing, if we abstract from the synopsis and first chapters. Dragonball got a big list of characters deaths (even the main hero dies!), but it's the popular kids series.

They're just didn't write others choices that counted less that 1,5%?

The anime was the late 80's - 90's.

cuity hunter was expected, with all the aging population problems japan has, a manga about a womanizer is exactly the kind of things kids need to look up to.

Think that one just got the most recognition on the list.
As for "appropriate", I'd put it farther down than Assassination Classroom, at least for 13+

I always felt that Assasination Classrom (never calling it that OTHER name) was a perfectly fine show to show kids in middle school or the like since it juxtaposes things they're used to every day as well as the fantastical ' alien teacher and assassins' stuff while using those things to teach lessons. Like, I'm sure most kids aren't going to actually buy a straw hat find a boat and say "HA HA I'M A PIRATE" when they see luffy in One Piece, but he's a good character to look up to because he is who he is and goal focused which is what most kids (like me when I first saw one piece) are likely to get out of it.

I wouldn't recommend To Love-Ru, but I'd recommend its sequel anime(s). Then again, they are kids, so they won't be very hard on it. Plus, I want my kids to be decisive...so that wouldn't be the best one. lol
Seriously, Dragon Ball series.

Apparently Japanese parents think more highly of their children than their Western counterparts.

It's also not appropriate for adults, let alone kids.
