You sure it's not because of the Crisis Core curse kicking in now?

He's such a perfectionist, he'll probably grow out that hair loss with his own will.

IIRC alopecia areata is a condition where if the spots are small and don't get big there's a reasonable chance that with, or even sometimes without, treatment it regresses and the hair grows back.

Are we sure ha hasn't started on Saitams workout routine?
On a more serious note, that kind of stress can't be good for either your mental or your physical health. Wasn't the wacky programming japan is known for meant to alleviate stress rather then bolster it? Or is it more so for the audience rather then the participants?

I think Gackt should take a breather after that- all that stress, let alone a month's worth, isn't good for anyone. Hair loss is child's play compared to the other effects that result from excessive, prolonged periods of stress.

Why Japanese have such low rates of baldness? Among my friends of my age like 1/3 are already bald and they are not 30 yet!

This is what happens when managers overwork and overpressure their talent. Just stop it, stop it, stop it. Thank goodness the disease is not serious. He needs rest badly.

When you're stressing yourself bald over a shit TV variety show, you should reevaluate your priorities.

Gackt should shave that head and play Tenshinhan in a live action Dragon Ball movie.
He'd be the most beautiful Tenshinhan ever.

That experience on the show sounds difficult. I suppose they're supposed to practice as much as they can in the days leading up to it, but it must be a weird experience.
Still, that ordeal is something I highly doubt is nearly as stressful as the first job to come to mind where people lose hair as it turns gray: Being the President of the United States.

This article is kind of a mess. Kirisho (Shō Kiryūin) was last year's partner and the *yama's were this year's partners. Which is unfortunate, since they got one wrong. Kirisho got them right last year. The show tried to make Gackt feel better by saying his "personal victories" stood at 42 (perfect).
