Has there ever been a visual novel done where the protagonist interacts with the heroine in a span of long period of time as part of the main plot?
The art design looks very beautiful, but I couldn't distinguish between the first and the second girl. |

It's like their previous game Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai, they love him, they grow up and eventually they marry, also we have the recent Pulltop "Miagete Goran" release that at least they branch the game in "Past, Ago, Current" with 6 years of difference at least with 3 of the 4 heroines.
And yes Akino Subaru (main artist) is very meticulous except that he is starting to suffer the "One face syndrom" that artists like Kantoku (Your Diary (VN), Henneko (Anime) suffer. |

The defining example of that syndrome would probably be artist Aoi Nishimata of Shuffle! fame... |

I hope theres an after story like in their previous game. Fans of pure love stories should look forward to this one.

I thought this syndrome is already crippling most character designers. Take Hisashi Hirai of Gundam SEED and Soukyuu no Fafner. Take Captain Tsubasa: the characters are basically carbon copy with each other, only small difference in hair and body type. You name it. Very few mangaka can actually make different faces. Only Yuusuke Murata of Eyeshield 21 and One Punch Man came to my mind. |
