There really isn't article or source I can show about this but after reading some episode guides and finding some fansubs, I think 4kids might cancel GX in the near future. The upcoming episodes that are yet to be shown in English might be considered inappropreate to show on US TV ever since 4kids is so crazy about showing deaths. Characters such as Prof. Cobra(Viper), Edo(Aster), Ryo(Zane), and Manjomi(Chazz), Kenzan(Hassleberry), Fubuki(Atticus) and Asuka(Alexis) all die :O the last 4 don't actually die. I think 4kids might cancel it ever since they don't want to and can't show any form of death on children's programming anymore. So what do you guys think? Will 4kids cancel yugioh gx for good or will they just edit everything and replace it with the shadow realm?

Well, if so, it's long overdo, GX is a horrible show. But if not, I'm sure they'll just say they're in the hostpital, and thier brothers Sven will come to visit from time to time.

I think its on its way out of american TV anyway. CN shows it at such an early time in the morn it doesn't get ratings.

I surprise the show lasted this long since the Yugioh fad has pretty much ended in America.

I find the show mildly amusing. I wouldn't miss it in the least if it got killed but the lines are so corny that every episode is a laugh riot. My favourite is when Hasselberry is supposed to get hypnotized but his "dinosaur D.N.A" stops it; and his explanation of how he broke his leg at a dig and they put a dinosaur bone in his leg because they were too lazy to go to a hospital was pure gold. Lines like that are why I bother with garbage like Yu-Gi-Oh. Alexis also has a pretty sweet rack (even bigger than Teas which is funny because she's like 5 years younger).

Yeah, GX was an attempt to revitalize the already dying Yugioh fad, and give it more appeal to little children who eat too much sugar and have the attention span of a gold fish.
Its pretty much failed though. Yugioh has run its course and now the fad has ended. GX wont last long.

Actually, I think it's still popular Japan, not in America though,I mean who does like Americanization of GX which makes the original even worse?

If you seen what 4kids did to Bellemare's death scene in One Piece, then you know they will find a way.
Trust me.

Yu Gi Oh GX is worse than DBGT, and that's saying something.

Doesn't the card game still keep on going? Shonen Jump still continues to stuff the cards into the pages every several months.

Well this fall, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX will be moving to 4KidsTV, so it really doesn't matter.

I don't know, when I was in kindergarten and early grade school I got up before the sun to watch cartoons. And many of my friends did too.
But yeah GX does kinda blow goats, so if it was around back then I doubt would have watched that program. Of course back then it would probably be the best looking cartoon on TV so who knows.

Especially since Yu-Gi-Oh! GX isn't even in Shonen Jump in Japan, it's in V-Jump IIRC. Along with Yu-Gi-Oh! R.

I wouldn't be surprised, but I do believe Yu-Gi-Oh will hold on in some form as long as the card game sells. But I keep hearing rumors like this that 4kids is moving away from anime (usually right after I hear something like "Hey guys, 4Kids just got PRETTY CURE!").
But I guess we'll just have to watch and see. I think things have been bad for them since they lost Pokemon.
