The editor was excited about it on twitter and some people have talked about how good the one-shot was so I have high hopes.

What happened to the last jump start? Did both do so badly that neither got added, I don't remember seeing any kind of results.

Yeah, neither got added which is a shame because the dancing one seems to be off to a decent start in the Japanese rankings.

"The destined meeting" is what intrigues me because it, to me, either means he is destined to meet a girl or guy that he will become good friends with. The latter would likely apply more to a BL story but the former is more likely since this is a Jump story.

And Devily-Man, reading the first three chapters, is a comedy with a lot of heart and an interesting premise. The author clearly knows what he's doing.
It's a shame neither of them got to keep going in Viz's Shonen Jump. Maybe it'll pop up later, like with My Hero Academia.
