Actually, they're usually a Season/cour apart, not 2.

That art style just completely shuts down my appetite for mecha. It looks so outdated.

If you haven't seen the first season : Fafner in the azure: Dead aggressor, and you didn't like Exodus chances you wouldn't like the upcoming one, as its going to be the same.

Because it is, the first episode aired in 2004. Still i appreciate this kind of mecha, i've been pretty bummed out with the gundam series since seed and alot of the other mecha series like M3 or Argevollen werent my favorite.
As a fan of the series i dont mind it one bit.

who is the MC of Exodus?while the first Fafner was obviously Kazuki,on Exodus the viewpoints seem to be divided to so many other characters beside Kazuki in equal manner

Fafner ranks as one of the best if not the best mecha anime series of 2015. Yep it's even better than Knights of Sidonia. Animation wise, character wise, in the use of the color palette (thank god no desaturated colors), fighting sequences and music.
I like Kos but man am I happy to see the second cour of Fafner Exodus. Can't wait for the Mir and the Human Army resolution. I only hope that it manages to wrap it all up with these 12 episodes. I wouldn't be able to stand another decade waiting for a third season.

I wonder when Funi will license this. Would like to see JYB return to voice Kazuki so I can rewatch the english dub again.
