Anime 'The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries' Announced New Casts: Ai Furihata and Ai Kayano Will be Joining the Cast. The Ending Theme Song Will be 'Kimi no Shiranai Koto' by Sizuk

The story follows Kanna Kusakabe, a female student who encounters Akihiko Chuzenji, a newly appointed literature teacher at her school. Together, they face a series of supernatural incidents in a school setting, creating a unique blend of youthful drama and supernatural mystery. The anime is a prequel to Natsuhiko Kyōgoku's renowned Hyakki Yako novel series, which has surpassed 10 million copies in circulation, and is based on an original spin-off manga illustrated by Aki Shimizu that explores the high school teacher era of Kyogokudo.

This time, a stellar cast has been unveiled to bring to life the familiar characters from the "Hyakki Yako Series."

Ai Furihata will portray Atsuko Chuzenji, the younger sister of Akihiko Chuzenji, while Ai Kayano will take on the role of Chizuko Chuzenji, Akihiko's wife. Comments from both cast members have also arrived.

Additionally, the ending theme song has been decided. The track, titled Kimi no Shiranai Koto (Things You Don't Know), will be produced by composer Shunryū's music project 'Sizuk.' The song features lyrics by Shihori, arrangement by ANCHOR, and vocals by AYAME.

This story takes place before the exorcist Kyogokudo opened up a used bookstore...

Our setting is in Tokyo in 1948, just right after the war.
Kanna Kusakabe had just become a second-year at a high school when she met the new language teacher, Akihiko Chuzenji.

Mysterious supernatural things keep happening around Kanna. Once again today, Kanna is going to open the doors to the library prep room to seek help from the surly Chuzenji-sensei who is waiting inside.

A high school supernatural mystery featuring the unlikely duo between a teacher and a high school girl is about to begin!
