What the Hell is CLAMP doing...
"I, as of now, am hating them, even more!!!"

Okay, they cancelled season 3 of Tsubasa Chronicle, and they're making a 3 episode OVA called Tokyo revelations, and they're saying it's only a Limited Edition DVD, WTF?!!!

I want to go at Clamp and complain on it... I'm an avid fan of Tsubasa reservoir Chronicle, and they're doing it to their fans worldwide... I object!!!

To better understand the issue, here is what my Japanese friend said as she translated the Japanese page to me...

Quote:
it says you can get the DVD of tsubasa tokyo revelations ep.1-3 only if you purchase the first limited edition of vol 21-23 tsubasa manga

and here is the official site of the OVA, if you can read Japanese good, but if you can't, let someone help you!!!
http://www.shonenmagazine.com/tsubasa_tokyo/

I think, I have to stop before I explode... GRRRRR....

I doubt that CLAMP had anything to do with the cancellation of the Tsubasa Chronicles 3rd season - I'd assume that the source manga was already written, and the anime producers decided not to make any more, or couldn't for whatever reason.

Obvious you have no clue how anime (TV series in particular) are funded, kiddo.

I think answerman said that it's gonna cost millions just to come up with a 26 episode anime.

Plus TRC wasn't able to meet the producers' expectations, so it might be a good decision to pull the plug while they're ahead Laughing

I think that they cancelled season 3 because it was not enough manga for the next season. I'm actually happy with that I didn't like slow pace in previous two season when scenes often looked like that

Syaoran: I'm (pause) going (pause) to (pause) protect (pause) princess (pause) Sakura, and after this incredibly quick declaration watching Syaoran and Sakura face for a few minutes.

Besides I like Tokyo Arc so I have been happy it will be OVA at least until i read it will be Limited Edition DVD Evil or Very Mad

Does anyone know exactly which chapters will be animated? And will be chapters with Celes country include?

huh?? violence well it was only some violent scenes when spoiler[Fay/Yuui tried to kill Sakura but what a pity he didn't Crying or Very sad ] and this scene when spoiler[Yuui lost eye] but I don’t think it was the cause. There are anime with more violent scenes.

wow lol exactly what i thought the pacing was like!! in fact I found myself only continuing watching just because I liked the characters and the music, good thing they didn't further butcher the tokyo arc which was supposed to be the best.
I'm waiting anxiously for the OVA though

Which Volume and chapter does the tokyo arc starts and ends on? I'm really looking forward to the tsubasa take on an alternate X/1999 universe. Please use Spoiler tags as I have read only up to volume 13 and I've not read any of the scanlations.

I’m after first episode of Tsubasa -RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE- Tokyo Revelations.

The arc started like what happened at the end of the second TV series didn’t exist … well who cares. There were small changes of few unimportant things and some scenes were cut but they were not significant for the story. In the end first episode covered roughly chapters 107-115. The fight between Kamui and Kurogane was impressive. The episode has atmosphere and an appropriate pace that TV series was lacking in. By and large it has been the best episode of Tsubasa I have ever seen. Having seen how a good job Production I.G has done with TRC I don’t want to see Bee Train to screw it up more.

If someone is interested there is new trailer of Tokyo Revelations

you can watch here:
Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations
or on
YouTube

It looks good. For a awhile Sakura is showed in this dress she was wearing in the tube at the beginning of the manga and this tube scene in manga hasn't been hinted until Infinity arc…..I hope that means a continuation is still possible.
