If you take the last scene in the trailer as literal, this movie has a "Carrie" vibe. If the last scene is not literal, then all bets are off.

I prefer the trailer to the earlier film. Oshii's movie looks too clean and atmosphereless.

But is it going to be any good? I mean his Assault Girls was a beautiful mess, but better than Sucker Punch. LOL. This looks interesting, but I have yet to see a thriller film by Oshii other than 'Blood: The Last Vampire'. Any recommendations to any thriller films he has done or is this his first?
