"Phialdelphia, PA" is typoed.
Still hoping it comes a bit closer than Philly. If I remember right "The Wind Rises" actually made it to my city so there's always hope.

Finally that small little indie theater by my university is showing an anime movie! Reviews for it seem pretty good so I'll definitely go see this when they're showing it, if nothing else than to have an excuse to finally go in there.

Where do you live in PA, if you don't mind my asking? The Wind Rises and Poppy Hill both played at this indie theater in Lewisburg when they came out, which is nearby where I live. Unfortunately, they didn't get Princess Kaguya due to "complications" with the distributor, so I never did get to see that gem on the big screen. Hopefully they get this one, it does seem more accessible than Kaguya was, anyway.

So we're back at the IFC. Gawd, I hate that theater. But glad to know that it's close. I'm sure a few co-workers of mine will be interested in doing a group attendance. All I care about is the DVD release.

I live in Phila proper and G-kids is the only anime distributor that ever screens here. And they always choose my favorite theater. Thanks G-Kids.
But I am going to NY the next day and have work that day so I hope I can make it work out.

I'll buy it when it's out on DVD/Blu-ray and watch it in Japanese. Their choice of voice actors ruined its dub.

I don't see Chicago on that list. That makes me sad, but hopefully the movie will come to Chicago soon.

Honestly, I'm surprised the French-language version is playing in Sherbrooke but not in Gatineau-Hull (just across the Ottawa River from Ottawa).
I don't know if I'd be interested enough to watch a French-language version (my French is below-par for someone who grew up in Quebec), but it would have been nice for me to have that option in case the English-language version never makes it to Ottawa.
