According to the wikia, it's a reboot of the original Fate/Apocrypha project.
I'm seeing it kinda how Xenosaga is a reboot of the original story that Xenogears was meant to be a part of. It's not a remake of Xenogears itself, but the evolution of the original story that they had meant 'Gears to be a part of. |
