Yes, most likely. Not that it'll happen. And if previous signs are anything to go by, if it did happen, it would be in the form of an online service geo-blocked to few or less countries... We do have Miku and Touhou though that allow at least for some level of freedom. 'Cool Japan' is a laudible effort. Or, well, in theory it should be, but there's one recurring thought popping up constantly when going through its history from -13 to present, and that is; do they have any idea what they are supposed to do?... |

I heard about this yesterday and yeah I think it's a bit of a smart move but....
That's the problem with Cool Japan. They don't know how to market product beyond anime/manga, I can talk all about it but I'm not going to soapbox it here. But Japan has problem with marketing, and that has confirmed what Justin said back in 2012:
