By the number of female seiyuus, could it be a sort of weird harem or something?

I think I'm more excited that Hanazawa Kana and Kayano Ai will play in the series than I should be, for some reason.

That key visual sure looks awesome though. I think I'll go and watch the OVA's before this one starts airing, I'm getting more curious about it.

I gotta ask people who've read the manga, when do things start picking up in the story, because after reading around 70 or so chapters of it straight, I was starting getting kind of tired of the mangaspoiler[made worse by the road trip arc, I usually like these kinds of stories but most of them just feel like a bunch of pointless BS, ESPECIALLY the college kids, man they were annoying.]

While I personally don't think I see the full on appeal, I do find it interesting how this is being animated now of all times. I know adaptations of older products are starting to become a thing now but I also have to wonder if people who were really huge fans of the manga back when it was serialized finally got into a position to where they could try and get this made.

I would say its in the 100s when the plot finally goes into overdrive, but I would fully advise not to skip anything. The author basically manages to make every small detail and character important for the long climax.

But personally, I liked the road trip. But don't worry, it ends soon.

Anyway, I never watch simulcast (I either wait for dubs or complete DVDs, usually, and catch up on my backlog). But after finishing the manga a few weeks ago (which I loved), I'm gonna have to keep up with this. Oh, I hope it's a good adaption that covers the whole manga!

While the manga never becomes a full on harem, it does veer that way a few times (at least five female characters have a crush on Ushio), so the anime will probably take advantage of that.

NICE!!! The keys, look very close to the original designs from the 90's. I cannot wait to start watching this show. Say doesn't anyone know if the kamaitachi story that ended the OVAs, shows up in the actually manga? Mind you I only have like maybe 4 books out of the whole series. Now if someone could give Hell Teacher Nube a proper release I'd be a happy camper. This will be going on my list of buys since I own the OVA that ADV put years ago.
