Okay, I normally avoid MgRonald like the plague, but I'd actually consider going there to get my hands on one of the cute boxes!

I had heard that France actually had One Piece toys at Mc Donalds at some point but even there is doesn't happen often.

Corporate decisions I guess. I guess it's similar to how the Japanese 7-Elevens have cooler stuff than our American stuff.

They remind me of toys from the 60's and 70's, nice throwback since the anime started in the 60's.

I wouldn't eat the food though after what I've heard, I don't like my food expired, with a tooth or with added vinyl.

Copyrights, lack of interest, or the general public probably not knowing much about Doraemon.

Because Doraemon is not a household name in the US market.

Also I've heard about it on Twitter few days ago. Looks nice but this is aimed at kids.

Target tried that Domo-kun marketing thing years back but I don't know if it went well or not.

At least in the US, you can buy just the toys, no meal required.

Well, we here in the US are at least getting some official Doraemon toys. And from Bandai to say the least.
