Just watched both video, I hate to sound negative but the video doesn't really impress me.

Even with the corny scenes and slightly broken English from some of the cast, I had plenty of fun watching this 19-minute video of rapi:tldier. It's very rare to see a English commercial involving Japanese actors/actresses; hence, I'm grateful to have watched this one in its entirety.

That's almost entertainingly terrible.
On the other hand, why do they need a cyborg when they seem to have Sailor Mercury working for them?

I think that the Super Sentai/Power Rangers franchise has been running for so long that it is to be considered cheesy and humorous.

Cyborgs are a staple in Japanese superhero shows since the 70's. The Kamen Rider shows in the Showa Era are all cyborgs. So yeah, you guys haven't watched enough Japanese superhero shows.
