Seriously though, congratulations to her. Pretty cool that she's having her child in the same year as the 20th Anniversary of Whisper of the Heart. Kind of makes me wonder what Shizuku's life would be like 20 years after the movie. In general I'm also pretty pretty happy about the fact that it's the movie's 20th Anniversary since it's my absolute favorite Ghibli movie. |

Enjoy the happiness before sleep deprivation numbs all feelings, and make sure him-in-doors is there for the grand introduction if only to spit at and curse his very existance. I was there for both mine and I wouldn't have missed it for the world. the Midwife even put me to work holding the salad spoons whilst she went for more tools.

She should eat well, sleep well and go out to work and relaxation places as often as possible, because after the birth all of these, for the first year or so, will be impossible to do.
