So, Naoto and Yukiko are finally confirmed. Nanako is a fun addition. I don't normally care about rhythm games, but exceptions can be made.

This remains a tough sale for me. I mean, that Kanji's confirmed as well and that it's some of the game music that I like (Loving the remix of Heaven, one of my favorite dungeon songs) has my interest as well. However, like you, I don't buy many rhythm games. So far, Project Diva f and f2nd and the Project Neptunia game parodying the genre are the only exceptions.
Most of what will ultimately decide it for me isn't the music or knowing that the main cast and Kanamin (the previously faceless idol that was referenced during Rise's social link in both the anime and game). It's going to be the game play. Is it one of those things where we control the lights and effects, control the dance moves, or try to follow the beat of the song? What makes the enemy so special that there's a dance off instead of a traditional battle or even taking the Arena route? When we see some of the controls for this, it'll be easier to determine whether I get it.

If this is like the Miku games where you hit the right buttons to the music then I might get it. If it's like the miku games and has some sort of Visual novel story to it, then it's a instant Preorder. If it's like Neptunia PP then I won't be going near it.
I wished they had done better with Neptunia pp and have the buttoning pressing to the music that Miku had. I also wished it had more than five songs....Since I am a fan of the Neptunia jrpg games, I was rather disappointed with Neptunia pp...

Pretty much the same here. I only bought Neptunia PP thinking, "Oh, I liked Project Diva enough and the Neptunia franchise is known for its parody nature. Maybe this will be as fun!" Three hours later, I went back to the first Project Diva f (or was it Mind:Zero to take a break from the genre?). Either way, PP is not in my Vita anymore.

Gotta love that line, "Don't miss it baby!" Man talk about the bonus stuff you get if you buy it. Of course I enjoy the song 'Time to Change History'. I think that was a track for P4G right? Man this so reminds me of 'Bust the Move'. I have to see this game in action.

I'm a casual rhythm game fan, but I'm actually looking forward to this. All the remixes sound pretty good, and I'm hoping the US release will get the same goodies as the jpn release.
