I apologise if this has been discussed previously or if this is the incorrect forum for such a suggestion/need.

During my first 15 years of anime/manga fun I was more interested in the series/movies/volumes than in their creators.

I now find the reverse & very much appreciate your careful compilation of both cast & staff - this in my opinion is the main quality that raises you head & shoulders over all other English-language anime/manga DB sites.

But sometimes I really want to see a persons work in date order rather than alphabetically so that I can track their careers & development.

Can you add an option to sort Cast In: Staff In; by date as an option?

Retaining the sort flag for this by cookie would be good as I tend to spend some time each session following groups of people through their intersecting work.

Regards,
Nico M Cool

In preferences there's an option to do that for Japanese cast & staff, but for U.S. cast & staff it's more tricky since the production date of the anime may not have anything to do with the date when it was dubbed in english.

Wonderful - thank you.

And it's only the Japanese staff I'm interested in for these purposes, since I'm a subbie not a dubbie - lol.

I'll reiterate that the 'People' part of your DB is the most precious jewel. For me it's what differentiates you from any other anime/manga English information source.

I hope you backup the backups (I'm a [ex] DB programmer).

Regards,
Nico M Very Happy
