Hmm compilation film. Makes sense I guess some since other series have done the same. Can't wait for the second season though.

It's already 2015, so Haikyuu!! aired in 2014. ;>

My guess is a release window of April-June, with the 2nd season airing either in the Spring (April) or the Summer (July) seasons.

The 2nd season probably airs in summer 2015 since KnB is two-cours(winter-spring). I don't think I'll watch the movie since it's a recap but maybe if it's has new scenes in it.

Wow. That's a lot of Haikyu!! goodness over in Japan.
However, I'm just hoping to the 2nd season gets a physical release stateside. I'm hoping the show finds a bigger buying audience than say, Big Windup! did because that show was great and very under appreciated by fans. (Which meant the 2nd season never saw the light of day here.) Here's hoping Haikyu! finds the sweet spot!
Then maybe I can hope for the official manga translation release too.

^^^ I still hold hope for an English Big Windup season 2 release and an English release of both Oofuri and Haikyuu mangas... Oh how it's fun to dream
I can't seem to get enough Haikyuu in my life so I'm very excited for the second season though it was a given and a compilation film will be a nice refresher; if it's viewable anywhere outside of Japan.
