Ok, so I see that the 3rd tv season of Lupin 3rd is subtitled and on Hulu. So why is that not released on DVD or preferably Blu-ray?

Is it a question of rights, or money or what?

Thanks,

Jim

So, basically no one thinks it is profitable then, huh?

They would rather release Castle of Cagliostro 25 times rather than release something new to the U.S. Market?

Thanks

Not necessarily. There could be a couple of companies bidding against each other or there could be complications on the Japanese end. Money might be a factor. What you need to keep in mind is that no one discusses negotiations as it might derail the process. In fact they seldom discuss even failed negotiations as they probably will have to deal with the same people again.

Basically until some company issues a press release saying "we got it", nobody knows nothin'.
