Use this thread to request whitelisting if you've been blocked by CloudFlare.
This does not refer to the "ANN is offline" error pages (go here for that). If you're "blocked" by cloudflare, it will give you a captcha page with this message, "One more step to access animenewsnetwork.com." At the bottom of that page there is a link to this thread. This thread applies *ONLY* to the above scenario. In order to request whitelisting, please provide your IP address. If you don't know your ublic IP Address, you can get it here: What is my IP Address. Your public IP address does not start with the following: 192.168.x.x 172.16.x.x ~ 172.31.x.x 10.x.x.x 127.x.x.x You might be able to find the cause of your IP being clocked here: http://whatismyipaddress.com/blacklist-check |

Regarding Opera Mini, I apologize, but it seems that Cloudflare is not able to forward Opera Mini to the site. Hopefully they will resolve this in the future, but in the meantime, there is nothing we can do.
Sadly we need the Cloudflare protection. -t |

It looks to me like I was whitelisted (more like totally blocked) yesterday for posting too much.
My IP address atm is 201.173.64.182 but I dunno if the block is at a MAC address level since other computers in the house can access the site. |

Were you using HTTPS? That was giving me problems, so I switched to regular HTTP. |

Yep and never going back (that is why I never returned to animesuki forums). Seems the problem was fixed (or my ip address changed already, don't have money for a permanent ip) so thanks to whoever fixed the problem

I'm getting the message after I keep previewing a large post I wrote in a Talkback thread regarding maid cafes to make sure I don't have any errors in it, and editing it again afterwards, and then when I finally submitted said post. Maybe it's because of my constant previewing, CloudFlare thinks there's something strange going on? I dunno, but I guess that would make the most sense... EDIT: Didn't get the error after trying to post in this thread, so it was probably my constant previewing that got me flagged by CloudFlare and bounced me to captcha land... We believe this is specifically related to a bug when previewing large messages. For now, just split your large post into two... (and please make sure it isn't mostly over-quoting the person you are replying to.) |

Noted. I'll try and cut down on larger posts from now on. Pretty sure I wasn't overquoting in my post either, but I'll keep that in mind. |
