Hey, y'all-
I was wondering if Bandia has a Collector's Edition in the works for Banners I & II, as they developed one for Crest of the Stars. Does anyone have any word? And, are the novels carried readily in the U.S.? Thanks |

When asked recently, Bandai said no. It may change someday, but if you want to pick up the series, it's probably best to go for it now. I don't think you'll see a discounted collection anytime soon.
Sadly, the novels aren't available in the US right now. May happen eventually, but like the Banner collections, there's nothing even close to official confirmation. |

made the link hot. Loa just shipped my copys thursday so I cant yet comment on how well he did Translating them ...(that and I have to ask my Grandma to compare for me) but based on the comparisions from the Fansubs of crest of the stars and the DVDs of crest He does a excellent job on translation.[/url] |

hee hee I fixed it ^^ For some reason every time I clicked the URL button it gave me [/spoilers].
I already own copies of the novels, so Loa wants me to try and get a picture of me with the novels so that I can just get the translations. Problem is I don't have a digital camera or a scanner so...guess I'll just have to wait until something comes up. |

I asked this question once, and I will ask it again, now that Bandai has covered it's bases with the series - will they perhaps, release another collector's edition for the series? It appears that the series is popular.

Not that I've heard. I already own it, so don't really care, but it would be really nice for those people who don't have it. I know my brother is thinking of picking it up, and would be much more likely to purchase a set than the discs individually.
Banner II wraps up this month, so it's definitely early to speculate on that one.... |

The final disc of Crest came out in December 2001. The collection came in June 2003, 1 1/2 years later. In short - don't hold your breath.
It has a number of passionate fans, but I never got the impression that it was a big seller. |
