Unless Freeza's been doing some heavy training in Hell, I can't imagine him being any match for any of the characters. Also isn't there a time limit on how long you can be dead before the Dragon Balls resurrect you? And also the dragon can't grant a wish beyond the power of its creator. I guess I can't expect Toriyama to remember his own manga anymore.

Freeza looks like he's stepping out of some kind of goo. Clone maybe? I'm pretty sure Toriyama knows what he's doing.
With Beers involved some how, he could be the one doing the resurrection/power boost. And last movie established Beers being stronger then the Dragon.
So no broken rules.

A. I think I read that the movie is happening in the time-gap between Kid Buu's defeat and Uub's appearence. If that's true, than how many times have the Dragon Balls been used (canonically)?
B. Earth's Dragon Balls can revive someone who hasn't been revived by them before, died from an unnatural cause and has been dead for a year or less (with those prerequisites playing a big role in the matter of reviving Krillin after being killed by Frieza, reviving Planet Namek's Guru and reviving Goku to help the fight against Nappa and Vegeta, respectively). How can Frieza be revived when 2 of the 3 prerequisites aren't met?

I'm pretty sure the "one year" rule only applies when you're trying to wish back people in a grouping (the wishes do have limits). Just imagine a wish that specified bringing back every one ever killed by Freeza and his men with no time limits...it'd be insane.
Any one person shouldn't be affected by revival time, iirc.

Yeah, the idea of Freeza being any match for them beyond the Namek arc just doesn't really make any sense... But the Namek arc was always my favorite when I first saw DBZ, so of course I'm looking forward to this.

Krillin is still bald and even Kame-sennin is fighting, but the God of Destruction is already there. Way to make us confused about when this movie's events will happen.

With Krillin being bald, gohan as a ssj, and master roshi actually fighting this time and no trunks and goten could this possibly be from an alternate dimension if I remember correctly did bills or beerus however that's called say they that there were different dimensions of goku and the rest of the guys and each one of them having being set at a different point in time?

I already lost count. Otherwise, I wonder if he will show any new abilities in this upcoming movie...

That cackle... It really wasn't his final form.
Looks like Roshi gets some action this time around. Great!

Uh... this will be twice, unless you count Movie 12.
Really not too many times to count.
