This looks pretty sharp for a Appleseed project. I normally shun my nose since their usually subpar. This doesn't look too bad I guess.
Is it really out now in North America or is it coming out next July for us? |

What exactly do you mean by "looking sharp"? It was released on Blu-Ray on July 22 and is indeed a fully HD Appleseed release (both in video resolution and audio codec).
Appleseed Alpha Blu-Ray information Unfortunately it only is in English language... no Japanese with english dub option like in other releases. I didn't mind the dub though. Content wise, it is about the same as other Appleseed films, though I do prefer the story of the first Appleseed film the best out of all. It's really a prequel to the first film yet at the same time a little bit of an alternative look at the franchise...very end of movie (after credits) ties in with the first Appleseed Movie. Action wise it's beyond the other two films with a more realistic and fluid combat style. The short time that the Landmate is in use by Deunan.... just WOW...wanted more of that!
