Ican see this starting an internet challenge wherein people try to prove how tough they are by brushing with (or, eww!, swallowing) wasabi paste.
I never heard of dessert flavored paste, either. They sell that in the US?

you don't need to be tough to eat wasabi. it's better than mouthwash

Japan, it's supposed to be that you brush your teeth so your breath smells better.

Don't you mean "Wasabi Toothpaste Smells Like A Bad Idea"?
Given that Wasabi gives a nice kick of aroma in your breath, maybe it's not actually that bad... And I already heard about bacon or cupcake toothpaste which surely are weirder than wasabi in terms of toothpaste flavor.

Seems interesting, having instead of a mint-breath a Wasabi-breath.

Wasabi clears up my sinus when ingested, so I don't mind.

I wonder if this is going to go over any better than celery-flavored Jell-O.

There are some sweet fruit-flavored toothpastes in the United States that are marketed towards children, if you're interested in that. Just be ready to be greeted by colorful pictures of SpongeBob Squarepants or Pinkie Pie any time you brush.

I like Wasabi, it's a great palate cleanser, but I think I will stick to the real thing thank you very much.

Funny that I come across this article after looking up what ingredient makes up "horseradish" and learning that wasabi is a distant cousin. Aside from trying to get my hands on wasabi flavored Kit Kats, and now we have wasabi toothpaste. Well, that first kiss will have some bite.
