But, but... Akiyo Satorigii!!! I wanted to keep reading her take on DRRR!! Not this new upstart from who knows where. (that's rude, me.) Ahh... this is the result of my tying my allegiance too closely to an adaptation of the series. I hope the new artist brings something special to the series (as I feel the previous artist did), and I hope the change leads to something new and fun from Satorigi-sensei too...

(still clinging to a shred of hope that Satorigi-sensei will continue to be involved in adapting the series, alongside the "upstart.")

There's a new Durarara! series coming to Sylph as well. I do not know if Satorigi is writing that one, but it's really hard to write two series at once *cough cough Mayumi Azuma* *cough cough*. I would guess they chose someone who fit the art style the best who isn't Satorigi.

Personally, once Yozakura Quartet is finished, I want a Suzuhito Yasuda Durarara!! manga (yeah right, never happened for Kamisama Kazoku, right? Haha).

Yeah, I know about that one too but I'm pretty sure it's another new artist (it's also a different magazine, and seems to be based on some DRRR!! game rather than directly on the novels??). Akiyo Satorigi has drawn all of the first three arcs so far for GFantasy, so I was hoping whatever new DRRR!! they serialized in that magazine would continue to be drawn by her...
