This is cool and interesting and all that but how come this is being posted now? I swear I read this, or a very similar, article when they first discovered it last year.

That worm is strangely cute, yet disgusting.
Interesting. |

As much as I would love to always be the first to post everything, it's just not possible. Sometimes we simply don't find out about something until later, or when it makes a second pass around the 'net, or just because it resurrects itself in the public eye again. I always appreciate news tips at [email protected]. |

So we should use the above address rather than newsroom (at) animenewsnetwork.com for news tips? |

This is cool. I always like little tidbits like this. Reminds me of Shirow's fujikomas which take their ideals from spiders and Satoshi, who was the creator for Pokemon got a lot of their ideas from bugs and other plant life.

interest@ann is good for interest-specific items. newsroom@ann is a good catch-all, though; interest stuff will get forwarded to interest@ann. |

I was sure it had been mentioned on this site before, so I looked it up and indeed it was an entry on The List: 7 Things You Didn't Know About Studio Ghibli. It really is an adorable little critter.
