Is Sanjigen the same as Sanzigen? Oh and no love for Digital Frontier?
 They did some solid work on the Resident Evil CG movies. But seeing as IG uses a lot of CG anyway, it makes sense that they make a division just for CGI projects.

So Production I.G. and Wit Studio are IG Port's mainstream arms, Xebec is their ecchi arm, and Signal MD will be their kids arm?

Well, technically, Wit Studio is still part of IG production, since it is literally IG division 6 plus IG controls absolute majority of Wit's stock, which is why you will see all Wit anime thus far feature many IG staff, and all Wit shows have IG in the production committees; because they are part of it anyways.
Hmmm...interesting. I guess in the future, you will see a lot of game openings and kid-friendly show coming from this studio that combines IG and Xebec's staffs |

To be fair, Xebec used to produce a number of anime for kids, though they stopped for awhile after they finished Ryuusei no Rockman Tribe. They recently came back and worked on Pokemon Origins and Oreca Battle (which is on-going), though they're co-producing with OLM. |
