Well, that was quick. I hope this doesn't mean the game is short and I also hope high quality dubbing isn't sacrificed.

That is what I am worried about also.

I like how the CGI models and their movements in current gen Tales games almost continue to look better than most attempts at CGI in actual anime. Maybe there is something to Bandai Namco Games doing a lot of CGI work and modelling for some anime this year. Like that Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders intro.....pretty much done entirely by a video game company. Likewise rather than leave it up to A-1 with the iDOLM@STER movie Bandai Namco handled the dance sequences pretty much themselves according to credits.

It is Bandai Namco so never doubt their willingness and greed to divide the game up into two parts while billing the 2nd half as a sequel like they pretty much did with Xillia.

I wouldn't worry about that. Tales of Vesperia came out in the U.S. about 3 weeks after the Japanese release and the localization clearly didn't suffer for it.
Anyway, I was hoping it would be a bit sooner, but compared to recent Tales games this is sure a nice time frame. And unless they delay it, it won't release at the absolute worst time for me like Xillia 2 did (still haven't had time to start it, probably won't get to it until at least late November).

Minor typo bolded. lol. I'm not too worried. Namco generally does good localizations IMO. Like someone else said, I just hope it's at a good time for me personally. Still haven't picked up Xilla 2 because of timing issues. I just hope there's Japanese audio options this time around. Their disc space excuse doesn't work, and neither does the hilarious excuse I've seen that they didn't want to have to make subtitles...especially when all the games have subtitles anyway.
Also, for the past 2-3 days I've been getting a lot of "server busy" errors on these forums. I assume you guys know about it but I thought I'd mention it at some point....probably not the right place tho.

Tales sells pretty well on ps3 but they wont bring over Vesperia on ps3 cause the 360 sales were bad. Sales were bad cause its 360. We need to keep complaining about this and maybe we'll get it. I say there's hope since we're getting Tales of Hearts, never thought that would happen.

Vesperia is an old game. That is exactly why they won't bring it over.
iirc, Vesperia sold rather well too.

The western Vesperia release had a sticker or something on the cover saying "Only on Xbox 360" bringing the PS3 version over might cause issues with Microsoft or something.
Also, to those worried about the dub. Tales dubs are usually good there have never been many errors in them. However in TOX2 one of Jude and Elize's victory quotes did get slaughtered.
