Ao Haru Ride 11 is under 1k away from beating volume 10's 8 week total. Good to see that it seems to have gotten a great sales bump, about to surpass 596K in half the time.

One Piece vol 75 in two week sold like 30% more than Attack on Titan 14(6 weeks). Not sure why some people think Attack On Titan already surpassed OP.

OP is still the biggest seller on a volume by volume basis but AOT sold more volumes combined in the first half of 2014. So whilst OP has more fans, AOT is selling more as a whole.

Actually you're somewhat incorrect, attack on titan already has surpass 2m in sales.
You forget to include the specail edition of volume 14 which sold 350k, so add the specail edition and the normal edition and attack on titan would sold 2 million. One piece isn't beating attack on titan by that far. One piece doesn't even sell 3 million anymore.

While yes that is true that is actually a really misleading stat to follow. OP had only one new volume sold in the entire first 6 months of 2014 while AOT had 2 new volumes sold in those 6 months. Add on top of that AOT was still on the curtail of all it's past volumes being bought due to the popularity of the new anime. We will see what the end of the year will bring because I believe AOT has no other volumes coming out this year since they don't have enough chapters to fill a proper volume before the next fiscal year. OP might be able to squeeze one last volume off before the end of the fiscal year we will see.

That's old news, op now has release 3 volumes this year, the first one in march the second in june after the first half manga sales was release, and the third one which is the current one we see now.
Op will also release another volume in november, so op will have more volumes out than attack on titan, which is understandable since attack on titan is a monthly manga.
Had to correct you on this, it seems you haven't been paying attention to what's going on.

Why must OP and AOT sales always be compared? Does it really matter which series sold more? And as far as I'm concerned, they're both extreme outliers in the manga industry. In a class of their own in terms of sales.

Please staph
Just go back to SNK vol 14 sales and you'll see even with the limited edition added (no spin offs) it doesn't break 2 million until about a month os so
OP vol 75 4 days sales > SNK 3 weeks sales

It will be interesting to watch Tokyo Ghoul's sales in the coming weeks now that the series has unexpectedly ended, and in a way that apparently left a lot of readers unsatisfied.

not to mentioned that its the most pirated franchise online and it still sells well enough is proof enough how much popular the series is. sure attack of titan is popular , but it wont outdo any of the shonen jump series like naruto, bleach and especially one piece.

Dude, can you do maths, like addition? add up the limited edition and the normal edition and you'll get your answer. I don't understand why you're including the spin off series manga which sells separately from the main series volumes. That just proof you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

attack on titan is the most popular series at the moment the big 3 doesn't have that much buzz again, if you're talking about overall sales then sure the big 3 will have more sense attack on titan will not be a a series that last for decade like the big 3.

You don't even know what you'e talking about, stop spreading lies SNK hasn't even reached 2 million yet
Let's do some math
Last showed rankings
1,653,516 normal+ 209,744 limited = 1,863,270
Limited edition fell out of the ranking in it's 3rd week meaning it sold less than 20 K (the cut off line)
20K x 4 weeks = 80K (it's a lot less but let's give it out of pity
1,863,270 + 80,000 = 1,943,270
In short One Piece 10 days sales >>> SNK 6 weeks sales
