Hi ! I would like some suggestions about historic anime (meiiji era) ! Lol ! I thought that Rurouni Kenshin was going against the Emperor and Shinsengumi was for the Emperor ! Wow ! I messed up !

End of the Meiji Era and start of the Taisho Era and thus cute girls playing baseball~ :p (I liked Taisho Baseball Girls)
The 1910s and 1920s in Japan is under looked and overshadowed by later WWII era or the Meiji Era comparably. Interesting stuff I'm liking these "This Day in History" articles coming out. |

Are there more than this week's two? ANN doesn't have article tags for easy browsing. Steel Angel Kurumi is set in the Taisho era, Irohanihoheto in the Bakumatsu period (between Bakufu and Meiji more or less), but that's about the only two I can think of that are somewhat close to the Meiji era. |
