The names have sure been localized: Ban Yamano -> Van Yamano Ami Kawamura -> Amy Cohen Kazuya Aoshima -> Kaz Walker Hanzou Gouda -> Hanz Gordon Ryuu Daikouji -> Gabe Lewis Yuusuke Uzaki -> Damon Osgood Jin Kaidou -> Justin Kaido Yoshimitsu Kaidou -> Cillian Kaido Other edits include making the guns glow and adding laser sounds when shot. Based on the Nicktoons character profile pic, they also thinned out Gabe's lips. Those are pretty understandable, though. It does miff me that we're in 2014 and the names need to be that changed. |

The gun censoring is minimal compared to what happened in Yu-Gi-Oh.

And, Disney aside, from a kids' cable channel believing that all importable kids' anime is Game anime, to license the toy franchise in the US. (Pokemon was fifteen years ago, I feel old.  )

Kinda late to party there. They're just airing the first series after the trilogy is over and done with in Japan
Edits are disappointing, but not surprising. No way in hell they would air a series with kids playing with live ammunition guns trying to kill people in America. Wonder how they'll handle the assassination arc. I already imported all the model kits but I'm wondering how much worse the American kits will be. These kinda kids toys are generally made with cheaper plastic or are smaller/less detailed than the Japanese originals. Power Rangers VS Super Sentai is a good example |

This isn't the first time Little Battlers eXperience has been dubbed in english.
The show has aired before on Animax Asia in english dub and uncensored. |
