The art style reminded me of this one H artist, Kawaraya Honpo, who drew futanari. **shudders**

Hey, now. Wait a minute. They're giving her her old catchphrase for Crystal, but not the original anime? Where's the logic there?

They've probably taken the fan feedback from twitter into account. I'm assuming the subtitled episodes on hulu were all done beforehand. They'll probably get around to switching to "I'll punish you!" for the rest of the episodes they have yet to subtitle, and fix the others for the dvd release.

I wonder. Because it seems like that would've been one of Toei's choices for the sub, considering Viz has gone to the top for the smallest details. The simpler explanation is that the one who subbed the trailer isn't the one subbing the episodes.

Still somehow weirded out by the release schedule. Has any anime ever been aired biweekly this way? I remember Katanagatari was monthly a while ago but this is weird for a big property like Sailor Moon.

It was monthly and twice as long as normal episodes, and decently animated. I believe those won't be the case here, I imagine it's a normal 21 minutes of show after OP, ED, and preview. It's not due to any "making sure we present the best product possible" or any other corporate bullshit, it's because it's cheaper to do 26 years over a year instead of half a year.

They did it for Monster near the end of the series. I'm wondering if it's for quality over quantity.

What are they using right now as her phrase? I can't imagine her not saying "I shall punish you!".

Not much difference between "I will punish you" and "you will be punished". Since Sailor Moon herself is saying it as she's about to fight somebody, it can be assumed the one doing the punishing will be her and she isn't just making a statement about karma.
"In the name of the moon... you will be punished!"
"By you?"
"No, just a general statement. Eventually, you'll be punished. Anyway, there's a sale at that other Jadeite run store across the street, gotta go."
But I guess you can argue it's passive vs active voice and she sounds more aggressive with "I will punish you!"
