Sweet jeebus, I think the con may very well explode from all the fangasming this year. First the (incredible!) news about the SOS-dan performing...and now this. Uwaaaa.
This announcement isn't particuarly exciting for me, but I know it will make a LOT of people mindblowingly happy. Good job AX. : )

Amazing. AX has really outdown themselves, what with the SOS-dan performing (OMGOMGOMG) and now these guys too =D
I probably won't go see this concert (Not too much into any of the performers), but I can already visualize the fangirl stampedes at AX.
...I can only imagine what the lines for this concert will be like o_o

I'm not a Gackt fan (only hear maybe two of his songs in my life)
even I'm excited. AX just make some fangirl's day. O_0
Somewhere a fangirl is crying tears of joy and screaming her head off.

My GOD! I'm usually proud of going to Otakon being that I live on the east coast, but even I have to admit AX is looking to be the undisputed champ this year.
I'm almost green with envy at this point.

Instead of giving us videos of Q&A and Panels, give us videos of the musical performances!

... I don't know what to say. I thought it was bad when all the fangirls were at Otakon just to see L'Arc. There will be a TON of people there just for the concert, I'm guessing.

Holy ****!!! If they don't record this show, also, there will be a lot of sad faces in the world.
**crosses Gackt off list of bands to see when in Tokyo **

I'm not a fan of Gackt in any capacity and I don't hate him, but this is good news for me. Mostly because it'll distract the zillions of fans away from other events that I want to see.

I wonder how much anime and manga stuff will be at the concert... I mean convention.
No really though, this is great. How much were tickets this year? What 60- 80 bucks or something like that. For people within driving distance its really a good deal.
They need to find an easy way to import some east-coasters with some sort of cool neato package dealio. Even if its a limited thing. Like charter one 757 flight from Atlanta, Baltimore/DC, Newyork/orBoston, Chicago and Miami. Thats only like 1500 people so it would be a drop in the bucket. Plus the small size would make it more manageable. Or if they want to start off smaller just cut the amount of flights in the "official limited east invades the west backstage and board tour". Aww, I can see it now.

You mean con registration? I've never seen one go over $60.

I'm pretty sure Gackt is going to be the vocalist as Miyavi has stated a while back (while not saying anything specific about the band) that he is happy that he is going to be back in a band and not doing vocals.

Yoshiki is from X-Japan. Sugizo is Luna Sea. Both were pretty popular bands a while back.
