Hmmm dunno how I feel about this but I'll give it a go through, already seen it subbed, and the dub seems to be an interesting mix so to say.

Kinda hoping that this means Shinovi Versus will get a dub.

They missed a huge opportunity with this show to give us true fanservice. Not even the specials had any nudity whatsoever. Instead it's nothing but a giant silly tease. So it's ironic that Funi still gave it an M rating

To be honest, I actually thought the voices actresses would be best suited for these:
Asuka - Alexis Tipton(Which turns out to be Ikaruga's) Ikaruga - Caitlin Glass Katsuragi - Trina Nishimura(Which turns out to be Yomi's) Hibari - Cherami Leigh Yagyu - Brina Palencia Haruka - Jamie Marchi Yomi - Tia Ballard Mirai - Brittney Karbowski Hikage - Lindsay Seidel Homura - Monica Rial(Which turned out to be the same) |

well looking cast list is quite mix of veteran, today, & next era of anime female voices.
main 5 ninja felecia - give 2nd year on more rise karb - oh well this gonig something yet when to doing these http://tenka.seiha.org/images3/kagura1/47.jpg alexis - quite right fit for it bryn & megan - well give fresh names more develop rival 5 ninja rial - well got have experience voice on it trina - hmm lots of talk bean sprouts teri - akeno voice give more develop on way woodhull - hey give more still on works kara - hmm give other characters she did well different story. well wait til full version arrive this in late july. |

You are right to doubt it, I'm sure Xseed (confirmed localisation for the first installment('s expanded release) in August 2013) would have been in contact with both Seven Seas (had the rights to the manga confirmed in April 2013) and FUNimation (confirmed home video release in December 2013 after streaming it prior) for some time. If Xseed thought it would be feasible or essential to have an English dub, they would have been in talks for months before Shinovi Versus was announced at the very least. Judging from the limited retail release in the States, they aren't going to go so far with this installment. On the other hand, I think Senran Kagura 2 and Shinovi Versus' successor known as a PlayStation based "Estival Versus" (with no footage or artwork) stand a pretty good shot at getting a dub or dual audio release if the brand grows stronger thanks to all of the SK media out there. |

I think it's really good of them to keep releasing fun ecchi animes like this because they're popular, despite some *cough* people not liking them!
