Live-action Gundam Wing? No thanks. Can't think of any actors in this day and age who can do it justice.
How the fudge is Pacific Rim like Gundam Wing? Or any Gundam at all? Just because it has giant robots? Man, she doesn't even understand her own interests, no wonder Bayformers sucked major balls, besides the fact that Michael Bay was part of it.

Megan Fox is April??! How did this happen?! I'm surprised that she knows about these series (and can't shake the thought that she's just name-dropping) but I just don't see it.
I thought that she was retired, like what former fellow "star" Shia (and fellow escapee from the loony bin) now is.
Please, would someone tell me how Pacific Rim was anything like Gundam Wing?

Well a few good things about a Gundam Wing adaptation: 1) it's one of the lesser Gundams, so Hollywood screwing it up wouldn't ruin things too much; 2) the male predominated cast would mean it's unlikely she'd get a part; 3) it could do wonders for the depiction of homosexuality in Hollywood.

Live action Gundam Wing? Hrmm, I'd be more worried about the actors not being able to portray the characters. The mech I'm sure we shouldn't be worried about.
I'd like to see a well-executed live action Gundam Wing movie. Not sure about show though.
Live action Salior Moon would be hilarious. Bring it.

1. Hollywood, don't touch anime, EVER AGAIN! Go mess
2. Megan Fox, just go away.

Lesser? Plot-wise it had the potential to be the best one, only 00 gave it a run for its money (but both really dropped the ball).

C'mon, you know Heero would be rewritten as a woman to cash in on The Hunger Games and the "young adult" market. Would it surprise anyone?

Kinda thinking that West Hollywood won't change its looks because of a movie.

In what universe are Gundam Wing and Pacific Rim alike? The closest thing it PR resembles is Evangelion.

Wait... I thought her and Michal Bay weren't on good terms after that Transformers incident? She got booted off that cast... but is in this Bay movie?

You and I clearly have very different views on what constitutes narrative brilliance.

Psh, what a casual, amirite, folks?
I'd be fine with either as long as she's nowhere near it. Though frankly, because of the mecha designs, I can't imagine GW would make it to live action. And there are way better Gundam shows to adapt.

*Facepalm*
I have to ask too, how is Pacific Rim like Gundam Wing?
I hate it when people in Hollywood talk about anime. Makes me worried they will eventually make them. You can be sure that there will be a live-action Death Note, Akira, and Cowboy Bebop before the decade is over.

Eh its sort of like Evangelion, in the sense they fight this weird seemingly biological alien entities, but the robots are completely different. PR is probably closest to Dai Guard or Gravion.

Evangelion is a deconstruction of the genre.
PR is an homage to super robot shows/kaiju films.

Any anime adaption out of Hollywood would most likely ignore any yaoi/yuri subtext Rather than girly bishis we'd get muscular action heroes.
Sailor Moon would do worse. It homages sentai and Hollywood would downplay those roots and make it more like a superhero flick I bet.
