Yes, I do realize it. However, history had proven that there are some laws that need to be broken. US laws based on racism, for example...

Apparently, a lot of people didn't find it boring. If ADV got it for a decent price, they can probably make out alright on it.

Remember Koi Koi 7?

I'm failing to see the problem with ADV picking up this show. Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean there aren't people who do or that it doesn't have decent sales potential.

Welcome to NHK is a depressing show trying to pass itself up as comedy. Its male lead is a NEET and his imagination and situations are more depressing than funny.

I'm going to make a lot of phone calls come Monday. To Bandai Visual, and possibly to ADV. My hope is that everybody else will pick up the phones and call these companies as well. I, atleast, would like to hear BV reconsider their plans and actually commit themselves towards the US anime DVD market standard: Japanese language, English language, subtitles, and high-quality masters. I think that's a hard choice to make, but hopefully I won't be living here when that happens.

No, some laws need to be changed. Simply breaking these laws wont accomplish anything. It will just get them into trouble. maybe these laws should change, but like HitokiriShadow said, Until the laws change, that's how it will be.

I Wiki'd this for you! Besides I didn't know what it meant either!

Quote:
The classification is "Not currently engaged in Employment, Education or Training".

In the United Kingdom, the classification comprises people aged between 16 and 18 who do not participate in society and who are beyond the scope of labour welfare. In Japan, the classification comprises people aged between 15 and 34 who are unemployed, unmarried, not enrolled in school or engaged in housework, and not seeking work or the technical training needed for work. The ‘NEET group’ is not a uniform set of individuals but consists of those who will be NEET for a short time while essentially testing out a variety of opportunities, and those who have major/multiple issues and are at long term risk of remaining disengaged.

I had to Google WEEABOO, BTW - My head hurts now...

A follow-up:

I wasn't able to find BVUSA's phone number. Just their address. And I tried to get the number from Bandai Entertainment... But to no avail. More to come soon. Arrow
