I wouldn't be surprised if Media Blasters cancels their other upcoming dubs as well considering their current situation. (Have they even released anything new since they downgraded?)

I seem to recall in the Fandom Post forums that they couldn't dub that title because the music and effects tracks were not available. It's almost tragically ironic considering Koe de Oshigoto! is about voice-over, and it can't be dubbed. Anime dazed

At this point, I'd be surprised if Koe de Oshigoto & Ladies vs. Butlers actually make it to retailers. Just look at Rio: Rainbow Gate. That was supposed to come out last September and got pushed back to January 2014. Then it kept getting delayed every 2-3 weeks and they're just now supposedly shipping that to retailers.

There are only two I can remember them releasing since they started losing licenses to all their shows. They're the license rescued Season 1 of Jubei-chan and the ecchi show, Juden Chan(which had mono audio that MB wouldn't fix).

This sucks, but I'm not surprised. I guess I can't fault the much-smaller Media Blasters for being stymied by a lack of "background tracks" as Maiden Japan, a member of the far-mightier "Sentai Collective", had to throw in the towel for the same reason with New Dominion Tank Police.

I'm still saddened that YamiBo won't get a dub. A properly done dub on that could be great. I've had the show on preorder for so long that I've almost forgotten about it.

Is there a place where I can send money so Media Blasters can finish up what they've started, and then just go away?

They can hardly release anything as it is, anime, hentai, or otherwise, and it'd be nice if they can get what they have started on released, and try and get one of the chibi-ADV companies, RightStuf, and FUNimation to pick up the pieces to what's left.

I'm not so sure that'll work as those companies have their own issues with releases and the first 2 are almost as unlikely to dub as is Media Blasters.

I wonder if Media Blasters ever settled its accounts with Michael Sinterniklaas?

Well, you can't fault Media Blasters for this. When the Japanese licensor doesn't supply you with the necessary materials, what else can you do? John Sirabella was quite pissed that the materials weren't gonna be supplied to him as he REALLY wanted this to be Media Blaster's first in-house dub. While a dub isn't important to me, I still would've loved to have seen the one that would've been produced for Koe; the writing alone would've been hilarious in my opinion.

In the dictionary, under the word "Irony", this will be given as an example.

I'm willing to bet if Media Blasters got the license it's an indication the other companies had no interest.

I really do wish them the best of luck. I try to preorder as much of their stuff as I can (unless it's complete crap). My little way of supporting the little guy.

Media Blasters, if you read these forums hang in there! You have at least one person patiently rooting for you Razz

I'm not sure how I feel about such a thing.

Well, so much for myself watching this show, all for the reason that the Japanese licensing group somehow forgot to send the music and sound effects...
Oh well, it's not a loss on my part, since it lasts only an hour, anyway...

Good.
I want to own this, but I don't want to pay for some American woman moaning.
