Not bad for a short commercial, not bad at all.

That actually looked pretty decent. Would be interesting to see if they will go for this similar effect or full CG for the actual movie. I kinda dig the idea of a people in suits AOT movie. It'd be like a proper kaiju movie Razz

That was less horrible than I thought it might be. Still not sure whether the final movie will be decent or look like an Asylum picture, but I guess we'll see.

So far the titans are not bad. Actually, the titans appeared a little slower than I expected.

It's especially fun to watch this imagining the reaction of someone who doesn't know the manga. Primo "what in the worrrrld..." material.

Shinji Higuchi also directed that short film about the God Warrior from Nausicaa (with Hayao Miyazaki himself in the rubber suit) destroying Tokyo. I'm predicting he won't go full CG with the Titans.

Anyone else flashing back a little too much on the Twister-esque "Outdriving Godzilla" scene from Godzilla 2000?

(But between this and the Peugeot Wacky Races, other countries keep getting the good car ads.)

If this is how the Titan visuals will look for the movie--then it'll definitely rock! For Japanese visuals, it's beautifully stunning enough! (I don't mean that to be a putdown, Japanese movies just don't have Hollywood-level budgets, which I've long accepted but for some reason plenty other people still don't)

That commercial would be amusing to show off to someone that has NO prior knowledge of Attack on Titan.
