Eiichi is apparently a nickname according to his Japanese Wikipedia entry but his name is read as Hidekazu.

Here's a Japanese Gigazine article which has the reading for his name: http://gigazine.net/news/20110804_kissdum_bd_event/

His name has also been romanized as Hidekazu on games published by Atlus USA: http://www.atlus.com/persona2/Persona2InnocentSin.pdf

I'm afraid that while we've been aware for this problem for a month, it is very complicated and would take administrator clearance to fix, if it can be fixed.
