Oo, not too shabby. That PV actually got me hyped for this series. Just a few more months to go!

More Umetsu TV series goodness! I'm quite surprised this is coming out for the Winter season.

They can do some solid stuff if they get the right peeps on board. From the looks of the promo, the animation looks pretty damn slick for a TV series. Hopefully it can maintain itself.

Hey,hey its like you are judging how good anime is going to be by seeing the name of studio that made it and not by actual talented staff behind it(you know a thing that actually matters) .Yeah that is not stupid at all!!

Because they've animated boobs? Are you allergic or something? "I don't like fanservice, so they're the worst plague that's ever happened to anime!" So you don't like the shows they produce, but that doesn't mean they don't animate well, especially with Umetsu leading them.

And it's not even like ARMS is GONZO, where your scenario actually does play out, people just don't like ARMS or Hoods because they deliver on fanservice content.

I promise to buy everything associated with Wizard Barristers if in every episode they use the "dunk - dunk" sound from Law and Order.

Pfft, looks like there won't be any porn in this one Galilei Donna's been almost completely clean so far. Umetsu's totally betraying his legacy, man.
We need more shows with titles that pair words for practitioners of magic with professions. Warlock Accountants! Magician Janitors! Most of all: Witch Prostitutes! (Actually, I half expect that last one already exists and that Media Blasters will announce that the release has been delayed next month, then announce the license)
I like Galilei Donna plenty, but it's nice to see Yasuomi Umetsu working on something that proclaims his style from every shot. I like his designs and I saw what I thought was some great shot composition in the trailer. The premise isn't particularly original, but his past stuff hasn't really worked from especially novel premises either and I'm not against something familiar if it's the people making it are very good at the familiar. Besides, I'm a sucker for both legal dramas and wizards. It's like Rumpole of the Bailey meets Harry Potter, but with a pink-haired seventeen year-old who sleeps in pajamas with bunny ears... Huh.
I know that the three years of graduate education that lawyers get the United States is atypical, but those biographies make it seem like in the world of Wizard Barristers you can start practicing law after an accelerated associate's degree program. That Moyo Tento looks like she might be at least a touch butch. The cigarette in Quinn Erari's mouth says something similar of her. I could dig that. I wonder if the reason that Seseri Chono is an, "unexpected gentleman," is that his hair leads people to expect that he'll be some sort of clown or Lady Gaga back-up dancer.
There's bound to be some fanservice in this. There was even a breast-jiggle in the trailer, although it was almost quick enough that you could blink and miss it. I think it was from Ageha Chono; I don't know why we'd want to know that a woman that old even has boobs. That's the price to be paid and always been par for the course for Yasuomi Umetsu, but also par for the course for him is having a lot more cool and badass than anything else, so I think that we'll all live.
I'm not as confident in the screenwriter as in the director because the only things that Michiko Ito has written that I'm acquainted with are il sole penetra le illusioni ~ Day Break Illusion, which I didn't like, and the 'cosplay pirates' arc of Bodacious Space Pirates, which I felt was the most inane and tedious part of the that series, but at least it ha d enny Doolittle being awesome and dat kiss. Perhaps that should be reassuring. The rest of her resume doesn't reassure me, although a few people have spoken well of No. 6, but I haven't seen any of those shows, so that's mostly just pessimistic speculation.
I think that I have my reservations mostly out of the way and my prevailing feeling is that this is cool, so I think that I have something more to look forward to in the winter season.

Half of me is intrigued and excited (the premise, the action scenes, the cast), the other half is wary and disheartened (the fanservice, some of the designs being garish/ugly, the obligatory jail-bait with helium voice).
Only time will tell.

Looks quite promising. As Ashen Phoenix said, especially the premise and those great action scenes, the court side also sounds neat.
Off-topic:
Now how about an Ace Attorney anime already too...

The animation shown in the promo and the storyline have me interested in this series. The only thing I see that might be a slight turn-off is the frog, but we'll see it fits in to things.

Um...no. I don't like torture porn. Boobs I have no problem with (why would I be allergic to boobs?). Don't Strawman me.

I imagine that you might only be thinking of "Wanna be the World's Strongest" by that descriptor of "torture porn." Maybe certain aspects of Elfen Lied (though it's hard to imagine anyone getting off on anything in that), and perhaps some aspects of Queens Blade. Might Kite count too? But I mean, ARMS was also recently responsible for MAOYU and Genshiken 2, anime that hardly fit under that "torture porn" qualifier. The names you see in the production credits of a show, especially the name of the studio(s) involved, can only say so much about the content in said show.
Anyway, this anime looks rather fun. I've never watched Mezzo or Kite, but there's something about the style of design of Yasuomi Umetsu's anime, and some of the animation I've seen in commercials for them, that inexplicably intrigues me...

Well in any case, there's a simple solution to this, and you already know what it is.
