How long is GTO (How many episodes?)

oh, one more thing for those of you who picked up volume 4 DVD...
Don't you think the four episodes with that super-smart girl (I forgot her name Mad ) could have been two. It did seem a tad drawn out.

I'm pretty sure GTO is 43 episodes and I know they're releasing it on 10 DVDs. I haven't picked up DVD 4 yet though...

I really like the Kanzaki Urumi arc. They use it for more than just her introduction; they further the developement between the kids and Onizuka as well as re-introduceing tomoko to the mix and getting you used to having her around again. They also have to keep all of the in jokes of the series in tact so they spend a lot of time making the show enjoyable (the cresta jokes) in addition to working on the characters and the arc.

I can't say no to that much kotono, anyway.

Eh, I still though it was still drawn out, but whatever as long as #5 comes on time in November.
Anyway, you mentioned the Cresta thing (which is very funny, by the way) and... well being an import enthuesiast, this is rather embarassing to ask.... Who makes the Cresta? Is it Toyota or a Nissan, because I do remember a car that somewhat fits its discription in Tokyo Xtreme Racer.

One of the things I hated about the anime was the fact that it ended long before the manga did. The manga dealt with some great material -- such as Urumi's feelings for Onizunka (she proposes!) and Miyabi's proper arc (not the lame one in the anime).

My sentiments exactly. I would have liked GTO anime to be extended to give it a proper ending. At least like three more DVDs worth to add in some of the things that are in the manga!

Actaully, I did not think the ending was too bad, although I believe the show did drag in some parts. It was a very funny and entertaining show, well worth the price of all the DVD's.

could be worse... at least they answered a prior question posed and kept the post relevant.

On that note, I'm looking forward to the first box set ^_^

True that. However, like Godaistudios said, at least someone used an existing topic instead of creating a whole new one. Here's to people using the topic search, yay!
