Need help finding an anime

Ok I am not sure I posted this in the right place but I will try it here. I need help finding an anime I saw on AZN. I just can't remember the name of it. I think it aired last summer in of 2005. I never got to finish it. It was a mideval anime that had to do witha king and i thin some some kind of rebelling group trying to kill the king. The guy running the rebel group use to be an important guy working for the king but left. I'm not entirely sure of how to explain. Your help would be much appreciated.
