So....the AAAs are starting soon, streaming live on IGN. Anyone else going to be watching?
Who's that sitting in the front row, anyone know? I'm assuming it's a voice actress, but I can't tell who. ..Her dress is...um...shiny. ^^;; |

Are you talking about this person?
The resolution is so low that I couldn't see anything even when she turned around. |

Yeah, that one...*shrug* Oh well...who knows?
So far, the awards have been...slightly mediocre, but not unexpected. The votes are obviously going to the most popular, but there's some very good shows and actors that are popular. I'm happy for the cast of FMA, in particular. EDIT: Awww, Vic crying when he got the award was so sweet. He really deserves it, he's a great actor and he really cares about the fans, as well (althoug I'm still slightly disappointed about Chris Patton not getting in the finalists...) |

I clicked on the link but it doesn't seem to work. It won't load anything, it's just a black screen. Is the broadcast over already or something?

Dang. Was it worth watching? Also, is there anywhere else I can find a video of that? And I don't mean some Napster-thingy where it's illegal. Aww, shucks, you know what I mean.

It was kinda worth watching. There wasn't a whole lot of entertainment segments like they have with the Oscars, and some of the jokes were kinda lame...but it was nice to see some of the people accept their awards (those that were there), and Vic Mignogna gave a very sweet, emotional speech when he won his award.
Overall, it wasn't very exciting, but it was nice to see it live. I think going to a con and then going to a guest panel would be a better experience if you wanted to see some of the people involved in anime, though. ^^; |

Ahh, I see, thanks. Yeah, on some nights I'll get really bored and just Wikipedia a bunch of stuff. Vic Mignogna did Ed's voice on Fullmetal Alchemist, correct? And Brolly's I think on DBZ, correct me if I'm wrong.

I saw it online.
it was a nice simple ceremony. Personally I did expect FMA to clean up here. My big surprise was Debi Derryberry winning best comedy actress. Best moment personally was when Vic Mignogna accepted the Best Actor "Mecha" I had my reservations at first, but it came out well and I'm looking forward to next year with the current stuff. (There is going to be a WAR between Hare+Guu and Haruhi next year) EDIT: BTW, Serge Vic did do Broly. So you we're right. |
