Has anyone read this, and is it worth my time picking it up?

I read it a few years ago. It's a pretty good introduction to Oshii's work. The basic outline of the book is a plot summary of each piece of work, followed by a commentary and analysis. I thought it was worth the time and money I invested.

It's more entertaining than some of Oshii's actual work. I hope Brian writes a sequel like Helen McCarthy.

Bah.

I still don't see why this got moved to the manga section, I guess Tony thinks Oshii did a lot of manga.

He did do a Kerberos manga a years ago (called Hellhounds by Darkhorse), but I also don't see why this was moved here. Anyways, only read bits of it, but it seemed well-written and interesting (what gatsu said is sadly accurate).
