Today I was just browsing through the local TV guide I noticed that this Sat. A.M. .Hack/Roots will start airing at 5:00am on Cartoon network! I double-checked this info @ zap2it.com's web-site and found the same info!

Thanks for the info. I have been wanting to see this anime. It pisses me off though that they put it on at that time. I am gonna give it a shot but I doubt I will be able to stay up until 5 each week. I will just have to buy it when it comes out on DVD.

It doesn't really bother me either, cause it doesn't really effect me when it comes on I'll probably catch it because its an anime I like and nothing will stop me from seeing it.

I'll be there with bells on. Or at least my VCR will be. Thanks for the heads up, tomcat!

why is it that Adult Swim tries it best to have us not watch their shows?? I mean, 5 am is ridiculous. And I remember before, they stopped Inuyasha during summer break and then restarted it at 1 a.m. as soon as school started. Are they just idiots or what? Or just not-so-nice-people trying to tantalyze us?

Adult Swim doesn't air on Friday nights, so 5 a.m. on a Saturday is general Cartoon Network. Adult Swim has nothing to do with this.

Exactly and if you remember CN has already had a bad run with the .hack series, LOTT basically got canceled. Also as for the VA; having beat volume one I didn't mind the VA in fact I rather have them (US VA) then the original Japanese, Haseo was just a pain in the ass (Japanese), but that might have to with Roots' story more then anything....it will be interesting to see how the VA does this role. exactly, Haseo's voice in G.U. made him sound Cool and cocky rather than the japanese which made him sound sick and more like leave me alone....

I just woke up and caught the ending, I was gonna make a post, but didn't think anyone would be interested.
Honestly, I hate the character designs. That girl with the big sombrero looking thing made me laugh... which isn't a good thing when we are supposed to take her serious. Everthing yells "generic RPG anime" to me. I love rpg's, but this is one I stayed away from since the first game. |

I gotta say considering they used the same VA's as G.U. it sounded awful to me and as much as I like Roots I think we have another officially butchered dub

No, they didn't. From what I heard, Bandai (for some odd reason) used the VAs from the Ocean Group to dub this. So in another words, you got two ENTIRELY different dub casts working on this .hack series. |
