i heard that some stuff was censored or cut out in the english verison is this true?
and does the subtitle track for the japanese voices is it accurate like they robotnik eggman or something like that

Yup, in the ova, they cursed quite a lot. They also edited something else, but I forget.

We're talking about the old one from a few years back right? Memories..I love it. I still have the vhs. Did they really edit anything? I mean....it's Sonic, how much could there be to edit.

On a side note: I wish Sonic X was more like the OVA was. The action was pretty cool, and the voices were great. I think I might just pop it into the old VCR again.

Sonic OVA is actually 2 seperate episodes but ADV edited the episodes together to form a movie. No footage was cut from the dvd version.

I'm so with you on that. But instead of Princess Sara, Amy Rose! Well, I believe Sonic X would of been a great show if
1. No humans! Takes place in the sega Sonic universe.
2. 4kids didn't get it's grimy hands on it
3. Sonic isn't so aloof, so they should stick to his carefree, "I'm in!" attitude from the games.

Eh, the whole sonic story and universe is a little fuzzy. . with there being like. . 5 billion cartoons, anime, and comics based upon it.

But essentially the facts are that sonic has always lived on earth; In the US, his world being called Mobius was a localization error.

And really, with SA's original release on the Dreamcast, humans have become a part of the Sonic universe back in '98 (Long before SA-X was out).
