I had to get a Vita when it was $250 a few months ago. Great, just great.... well, I have no interest in the PS4 anyway. There is NO games that I personally am interest in to want me invest in a PS4 or XBox One.

Just a few months away, and there's still much of the internals and OS we don't know.

I'll probably wait a few years until I get this like I did with PS3. The niche Japanese games tend to take a few years to come to a new console, and thats what I'm mainly interested in.

I'll wait a while; I don't see many games that spark my interest that are coming out super soon. Final Fantasy 15 and KH3 are pretty much the only things I'm really looking forward to at the moment.

Cool, but I'll wait. I want to see how the system for the next few months after it comes out and I want to see the feedback from people who are going to play the PS4.

It would be nice if we could get a confirmation already of what it'll cost in Canada. I mean I'd like to think it'll be $399 just like in the US. But they could also tack on an extra $50.
Anyway, I'm gonna hold off for now. Practically everything is still gonna be on PS3 for the near future. Until the bulk of games start going next gen exclusive...well I can wait on Knack and another Infamous sequel until then. |

And unless you are a developer you will never know and you don't need to. Due to the exploits of some in the linux community Sony will NEVER allow any other OS to run on this. All you need to know is that it runs PS4 games. |

i got a vita from amazon special sale for $175.
PS4's OS ability is to play bluray, run ps4 apps and games. I don't think they would be this stupid again to make it for hacking. |

And you seem to be in the same boat as Sony thinking like this and committing the same error, this only adds more motivation to hack the system, and make no mistake, IT WILL happen, the question is when. |

We already know it's capabilities: http://anandtech.com/show/6972/xbox-one-hardware-compared-to-playstation-4 The biggest difference between XB1 is the GPU. 50% more cores/shaders is a lot. It runs on Orbis OS based on FreeBSD, like the PS3 before it: http://www.freebsdnews.net/2013/06/24/freebsd-based-orbis-os-powering-sony-ps4/ They have also been pushing various enhancements to FreeBSD relatively recently Some discusssion about the APIs used here and here But basically the only to know more for yourself is to get a dev kit, since that's were the above info has come from |
