PS4 Launches in N. America on November 15

Sony announced during its press conference at the Gamescom event on Tuesday that the PlayStation 4 console will launch in the United States and Canada on November 15 and in Europe and Latin America on November 29. Sony also announced that the PlayStation Vita handheld console will get a price cut, and will cost US$199 in North America and 199 Euros in Europe. Additionally, a PlayStation 3 console with a 12GB hard drive will also soon ship for US$199 in North America and 199 Euros in Europe.
Sony additionally revealed during the press conference that it is launching an upgrade program for those who purchase various PS3 games such as Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed IV, Call of Duty: Ghosts or Watch Dogs. Those who purchase the PS3 versions of those games will be able to buy a digital version for the PS4 at a "significantly discounted" price once the PS4 version is available.
Sony also announced that Gran Turismo 6 will launch globally on December 6, and the Minecraft game will be a launch title for the PS4.
Sony added in a blog post after the press conference that by the end of December it will publish 33 titles for the PS4, including: NBA 2K14, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Skylanders Swap Force, Need for Speed: Rivals, Battlefield 4, Madden 25, FIFA 14, NBA Live, Killzone: Shadow Fall, #DRIVECLUB, Knack, Assassins Creed IV Black Flag, Watch_Dogs, Just Dance 2014, and Lego Marvel Super Heroes.
The PS4 will cost US$399, 399 Euros, or 349 British pounds.
