I know I'm an idiot since I want to buy this thing after having purchased the limited box that the first run of volume three came with... just last year (buying it, I mean).
Ah well, at least Synch-Point is arguably offering worthy extras for the re-release and telling you what they are unlike another certain North American company that handles another infamous Gainax anime.

Oh, this looks wonderful. I've been waiting forever for another box set of this series to come out and I really plan on getting this.

Ugg. A cardboard digi-pak for an "Ultimate" Edition? But if you buy an El Cheapo ADV thinpack you get full plastic DVD cases, in a box?
I don't like it.

Since I never bought the dvds the first time around I'll definitely be getting this one. I'd much rather have a digi-pack over a thinpack; none of the thinpacks I own have artwork inside the cases. I'm looking forward to that 64 page booklet too.

Most of the regularly packaged DVDs I have either don't have art inside or have just a one page leaflet, but I'd still rather have a full plastic DVD case over a digipak. A little rough handling, or a spilt glass of juice is all a digipak needs to be ruined. All my CD digipaks look like shit and it's only through regular usage.

Yeah, digipacks definitely require special handling. These designs look great. So, when are they going to post the box design?
Definitely buying this one.

Now THAT ought to be something.

Yeah I certainly am interested in seeing how this boxset is being released....I am just wondering if I am going to rewatch this series anytime....I already have a large plate of anime to watch, although I wouldn't mind having the chance to rewatch the series in sub again.
